Hard Drive Defragmentation
using Windows Disk Defragmenter
As a general
rule before performing any of the below procedures make sure
important documents are saved and applications are closed.
Perform a disk defragmentation once a month.
Click Start then go to and click on Run. In the Run box type
c:\windows\system32\dfrg.msc and click OK.
Select which ever drive
you wish to defrag then click on the Defragment button.
Once complete click the
close button and move on to the next drive, when all 3 drives are
defragmented, then close the below window by clicking on the X in
the upper right hand corner.
